Producer/Editor – MPS Media of Tallahassee License, LLC

MPS has an immediate opening for a full-time Producer/Editor/Promotion Assistant to join our television broadcast team in Tallahassee, Florida. We are looking for an energetic, organized individual to join our fast-paced working environment. The ideal candidate for this position must demonstrate the ability to execute daily job duties efficiently and accurately while managing deadlines. It is important that you possess excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills, in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Help oversee the video production and writing of various station promotions
• Writing promotional copy and assisting with organization
• Execution of station related events and promotions
• Qualified candidates must be able to help create, conceptualize, script, shoot and edit promos for our clients.
• The ability to work well with internal and external clients is vital.
• Work with Creative Services Director and Account Executives to create a mutually beneficial relationship with clients in the community
• Managing promotional inventory on station traffic logs
• Oversee accuracy of stations’ programming
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Work in Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
• Must be outgoing, enjoy working in a team environment, able to communicate effectively and be prepared to help out where ever needed.
• Work well under pressure and able to multi-task
• Willingness and ability to learn how to operate Wide Orbit traffic system and computer programs when needed
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Database entry, accurate typing abilities are needed.
