Who We Are

We here at the Center for Student Media want to give Gulf Coast students an opportunity to get first hand experience with radio and television production.

As a member of the Center of Student Media, you’ll have the opportunity to recieve quality industry experience in multiple digital media fields. You can participate on The Alternation (the student operated radio station), Commodore Productions (the student video production team), or Commodore Waves (the student online news presence).

All of our student media outlets use industry standard software in our labs and top-of-the-line equipment from our HD radio and television stations.

In addition to your time spent training and working at Gulf Coast State College, you will have the opportunities to work with local businesses and organizations to get real-world experience.
