Champagne Lady Management/Marketing Duties:

  • Monitor inventory of cruise dates, times, and reservations, ensuring all information is correctly displayed online and available for purchase.
  • Manage all aspects of reservations for cruises through Fair Harbor, including confirmations, cancellations, questions, and special requests.
  • Communicate booking information to Resort Staff to ensure proper planning for staffing needs, food, and beverage needs.
  • Monitor and manage guest payments through OpenTable.com and ensure processing is complete and accurate with accounting department.
  • Schedule, promote, and assist in planning special event and holiday cruises.
  • Serve as contact for Sales Team for private charters and group bookings.
  • Manage all marketing efforts of Champagne Lady in coordination with Marketing Manager, to include social media, print collateral, advertising, and promotional materials.
  • Regularly report on reservations, guest feedback, and revenue of Champagne Lady. Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
  • Research competitive properties and boat offerings to ensure Champagne Lady remains competitive in offerings, market share, advertising, and pricing.
  • Make recommendations for future programming, budget, and forecast pertaining to the Champagne Lady.

Social Media Management & Other Marketing Duties:

  • Monitor and manage guest feedback and comments on all social channels, with positivity, professionalism, and helpfulness.
  • Ensure all social postings are within the Marriott/Sheraton standards and reflect our branding requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive quarterly social media strategy to promote Resort, amenities, outlets, and special events.
  • Create engaging content for all areas to increase awareness, promote sales, and foster a culture of a high-end vacation destination, to include photos, videos, graphics, surveys, giveaways, contests; with assistance from Marketing Manager as needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of social media trends, requirements, and advantages to maximize social impact.
  • Assist general marketing responsibilities as needed.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, online graphic editors, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Strong knowledge of current social media platforms
  • Excellent language, spelling, writing, editing and proofreading skills, and telephone etiquette.
  • Photography and video production background a plus
  • Event planning background preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow.
  • Discretion and confidentiality are extremely important
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Should be accurate and organized.

Qualifications

Education

Preferred

Bachelors or better in Communication or related field.

Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.

Experience

Preferred

1-2 years: Experience and training in similar position in the hotel/resort/guest service industry or related field, preferred.
