This is a full time OPS position (40hrs./week) that will be filled at $15.00/hour

*The salary may be negotiable dependent upon years of experience, education level and available salary rate.

This is a headquarters position based in Tallahassee that will be able to telework with the approval of Division and Agency Leadership.

Job Description:

 

The employee must be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities and maintain goal-directed

behavior and performance sometimes under stressful conditions. The employee must interact courteously with

others. The employee’s performance and behavior must demonstrate consideration of the workload concerns of others and

must not negatively affect productivity and morale of the unit. Attendance is an essential function of this position.

  • Partner with IT on website relaunch, maintenance and metrics
  • Partner with IT on developing site maps, monitoring metrics, and maintenance for VR intranet
  • Preparing news clips and other content for SharePoint
  •  Supporting outreach efforts as necessary (e.g. producer/TA for external facing webinars)
  •  Graphic design and material development
  •  Responsible for content audits and inventories, content lifecycles on SharePoint & Rehabworks website
  •  Checking & converting documents/media into accessible formats
  •  Video editing, captioning and YouTube channel maintenance

 

Performs other duties as required, assigned, or delegated

Background Screening Requirement

It is the policy of the Florida Department of Education that applicants for employment undergo level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
