We are currently seeking a Part-Time Graphic Designer to join our Team in Pensacola, FL.

Scope of work:

 

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll play an important role in the development of creative projects. From consulting with employees and gathering requirements to overseeing the finished product production. Our graphic designer will be the visionary behind the masterpiece. Collaboration will be key in this role. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent problem-solving abilities, is passionate about delivering results on-time, exceeding expectations, and ensuring success for our teams.

  • Consult with teams to gather requirements and expectations.
  • Develop design concepts, graphics and layouts, using creative approaches.
  • Use various media sources and graphic design software to accomplish your work.
  • Prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
  • Assist in company brand development.
  • Promote products and services in a visually appealing way.
  • Able to visually design complex information into easily digestible illustrations/graphics.
  • Develop proposal and oral presentation graphics.
  • Create high-quality graphics on time.
  • Strong understanding of brand management.
  • Experienced producing social media and website graphics is a must.
  • Pitch design concepts and find creative solutions for scoped projects.
  • Create and maintain the company’s style guide and brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Provide graphic design support for presentations, fact sheets, reports, and other communications materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Review graphic design work for quality assurance and provide feedback to other designers.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to deliver highest quality products.
  • Ensure all proposal graphics follow guidelines written out in the RFP (margins, font-size, etc.).
  • Represent the creative team with a positive attitude, responsible behavior, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Experience with executing projects from conception to production, such as websites, brochures, videos, and product marketing.
  • Experience with logo design and brand style guide creation.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field required
  • 5+ years graphic design experience
  • Proven graphic designing experience with a strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Have a solid understanding of proposal graphic design
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
  • Creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  • Strong interaction, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong abilities to comply with requirements of time, costs and deadlines
  • Must share non-proprietary samples of work
