JOB SUMMARY:

Information Services Program is seeking a skilled professional to serve as Computer Programmer Analyst I within the Service Operations unit. This position is responsible for the design, draft, and preparation of new and or modified forms for both GTA and Exec programs within DOR. Candidate will confer with form users to define/review form requirements. Duties include the coordinating of tasks and overseeing work completed by others. This position will support ISP’s Publishing Support Team in the coordination or installation of computer programs and/or system software. This is to include testing, maintaining, and monitoring computer systems for Planet Press, Solimar, and Depcon.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 3 years of experience working in a position where time spent on publication design is over 50%.
  • 2 years of experience in Adobe InDesign desktop publishing/typesetting program (Adobe creative suite Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, After Effects, and Dream Weaver) as well as experience with the fillable form software LiveCycle.
  • Proficient experience in preparing and delivering communications, both oral and written.
  • Experience with problem analysis and resolution.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • A college degree in graphic design with an emphasis on designing publications will substitute on a year-by-year basis for experience.

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience in a Production Environment.
  • SAP application Experience.
  • Mission Critical Experience.
  • Knowledge and or experience with DEPCON or Solimar Print Management software.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position will provide on-call support and is designated as “mission essential” pursuant to the Department of Revenue’s Continuity of Operations Plan.

SALARY: $36,467.64 – $40,144.44 / Annually.
