ARA’s Creative Media Group is searching for an experienced Digital Media Designer with strong creative and technical ability in graphic arts, publication design, web design, and animation. We are looking for someone who is organized, highly motivated, able to execute multiple projects from inception to completion, able to design within brand guidelines, and able to meet short deadlines while working in a group setting.

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite applications, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, is desired. Experience with HTML5 web design and animation are highly favored. A portfolio of work is required.

This position is a part of a creative team that works together to assess project needs and recommend appropriate design solutions for clients to meet their project and messaging goals. Daily activities may include:

  • Effectively conceptualize, design, and create high quality, custom visuals.
  • Create or assist in the creation of advertising and promotion concepts for new product literature and/or specialty items.
  • Establish format, style, layout, etc. for multi-page publications.
  • Assist in the creation of themes and designs for large format displays and exhibits.
  • Coordinate with instructional designers to develop multimedia content for online training courses.
  • Optimize multimedia for web delivery.
  • Manipulate and reformat photographic images for use in different environments (print, online).
  • Retouch product images to ensure color accuracy and consistency of lighting, drop shadows, and backgrounds.
  • Develop, test, and implement interactive designs and publications.
  • Maintain organized, archived project folders and image files.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar is preferred
