AB+ Production is seeking an experienced videographer/content creator & editor to lead its video production/photography department.

The Videographer/Editor will work closely with the CEO and the Marketing team on a variety of video production projects including, but not limited to, short and long form videos, video tutorials, testimonials, social media, podcasts, web videos, drone videos and editing.

The successful candidate must be experienced with video cameras, lighting, audio recording and nonlinear editing software. Main duties include preparing for and executing location and studio video shoots, maintaining production equipment, editing video projects and communicating progress to clients and colleagues. Local travel is required 20%-40% of the time.

We want a seasoned, creative video professional ready to jump in and match our company’s commitment to high quality video products. This is a fast-paced, hands-on production position.

Qualifications

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in film/video production, graphic design, film, communications or similar college degree preferred (experience can be substituted for education)

· College coursework in Fine Arts, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field of study.

· Previous experience in video production required

· Extensive videography skills

· Basic lighting skills

· Extensive video editing skills (Final Cut Pro, Premier, After Effects)

· Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to receive and offer creative direction and apply to project

· Ability to navigate multiple, ongoing projects and shift priorities as directed

· Still photography, graphic design and drone experience a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as in-house videographer to produce engaging video products, including short and long form videos, video tutorials, testimonials, social media, podcasts, web videos, drone videos
  • Interact with clients, colleagues and executives
  • Shoot client and internal video projects on location and in our studio
  • Shoot livestream events (Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
  • Assuring professional quality productions to AB+ standards and smooth execution of projects by planning, organizing, selecting shots, implementing proper lighting and audio techniques as well as coordinating and scheduling pre and post production with appropriate personnel.
  • Develops long and short form video and audio content to support marketing and communications projects.
  • Operate company audio production equipment on location and/or in the office; transport, set up, and operate video production equipment on location and/or in the office, and properly care and account for all equipment afterward.
  • Contribute to the creative direction of brand campaigns, new product launches and planned marketing projects
  • Travel when needed. Accommodations will be provided

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Concept, storyboard, direct, shoot and edit using in-house equipment; assist with script development; capture new footage and apply effects; assemble/edit materials including graphics, photography, dialogue, existing footage, and sound effects
  • Detailed understanding of, and experience in cinematographic processes/techniques and editorial.
  • Ability to use professional video and still cameras and related equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others in the work environment and with content sources, including team members, the media and members of community

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of relevant video production, film, promo videos, filmmaking experience
  • Creative writing skills and the ability to independently create content is required
  • Proficiency with production equipment (steady cam, dolly, gimbal, lighting, camera op)
  • Robust Online Portfolio demonstrating a variety of work in videography and graphics
